During the production of a film many important people join the project. The functions and main responsibilities are as follows. A  screenwriter  creates a script (a written version of a film before being filmed) either based on previously written materials, such as a book or a play, or in an original work. A scriptwriter can write a script assuming that later it will be able to sell it or it can be hired by a producer or study to write a script following certain specifications. The scripts are often rewritten and it is not unusual for more than one screenwriter to intervene in a script. The  Producer  is the person who maintains control over the complete production of a film and, ultimately, is considered responsible for the success or failure of the film and is involved in the project from the beginning to the end.
